Setting an exact amount

The money cheat is the tidy option. Instead of adding cash, it sets your household funds to exactly the number you type, which also makes it handy for taking money away for a rags-to-riches challenge.

  1. Open the console and enter testingcheats true.
  2. Enter money followed by a space and the amount, such as money 1000000.
